August Burns Red have been around for quite a while. And their discography reflects that experience. To date they have released 9 full-length studio albums, 6 EPs, 3 live albums, 2 video albums, 3 remix albums, 21 singles, 23 music videos, 1 demo, and 10 other assorted appearances.

Regarding their studio albums, their first appearance on US Billboard charts came with their second album, 2007’s Messengers. This album was their first with Luhrs as vocalist. It managed to sell 9,000 copies in its first week and peaked at #81 on the Billboard Hot 200 and topped the charts on the US Christian Album chart. Since then, the band has remained peaking in the top 2 ranks on the US Christian Album charts except for 2012’s Sleddin’ HIll which peaked at #8.

The band’s first studio album appearance on non-US charts came with their 4th album, 2011’s Leveler, which peaked at #93 in Australia and #15 in Canada. August Burns Red continued to break into the charts in those countries for 3 of their next five albums (excluding Sleddin’ Hill and 2020’s Guardians, which did not appear on the Canadian Albums chart).

The band’s arguably most successful album, Phantom Anthem, sold 19,000 equivalent units in its first week.
